"Things such as important places to try and stay local cuisine is the main source of expenditure when traveling abroad," said Visa Country Manager for Indonesia Ellyana Fuad.
Poll also noted that the average holiday budget for international travel as much as 2302 U.S. dollars per person.
This poll was conducted online by Synovate in August 7-28 since 2008 involving 5,554 respondents from 11 major travel markets in the Asia Pacific (Australia, China, Chinese Taipei, France, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore, United Kingdom, and United States States) on the previous tour and travel itinerary to come.
For each market, the respondents are internet users, aged 18 years and over, never travel holiday tour in two years ago, or plan to do so in 2009 or 2010. (Source: Kompas)
